Melissa Coyne

Melissa Coyne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Melissa began their career as a Realtor at YWGC Realty from December 2007 to April 2011. In 2011, they joined US Lacrosse as the Women's Game Director, where they played a crucial role in establishing policy and programmatic consistency for the Women's Game Committee. Melissa worked with industry leaders to develop policy regarding rules and equipment specifications. Melissa then moved on to become the Director of Games Administration and later the Director of the National Teams Development Program at US Lacrosse from October 2014 to June 2018. In 2015, they joined the NCAA as the Coordinator of Officials for Women's Lacrosse. Most recently, Melissa worked at The St. James as the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Programming/Director of Lacrosse from May 2018 to April 2019, then as the Director of Athletics from April 2019 to June 2023. Melissa is currently serving as the Senior Director of Operations at The St. James, starting in February 2023.

From 1997 to 2001, Melissa Coyne attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During their time there, they pursued a BA degree, majoring in Political Science and Women's Studies.
