Toni Newborn, J.D., has extensive experience in human resources and civil rights. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources and Chief Equity Officer for the City of Saint Paul since July 2015, Toni Newborn has held various leadership roles, including Interim Human Resources Director and Diversity and Consulting Services Manager. In addition, Toni Newborn contributes as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of St. Thomas School of Law since January 2016. Previously, Toni Newborn served with the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights from January 2008 to July 2015 in roles including Assistant Director of Civil Rights and Investigator. Toni Newborn's career began as a Contract Attorney at Thomson Reuters in 2007. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctorate from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Birmingham-Southern College.
