James Kusi-Appouh

James Kusi-Appouh has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. From 2023, they have been the Managing Director of Operations and Facilities at Excellence Community Schools. Prior to this, from 2020 to 2023, they served as the Regional Director of Operations at the same company. From 2017 to 2020, James worked as the Director of Operations at St. Mark the Evangelist School, and from 2015 to 2017, they held the position of Dean of Students at the same school. Before joining St. Mark the Evangelist School, from 2014 to 2015, they were the Director of Operations at St. Mark the Evangelist School. James also gained experience as the Director of Operations at CUNY Preparatory School from 2012 to 2014, the Director of Operations at Merrick Academy Charter School from 2011 to 2012, and the Director of Operations at Harlem RBI from 2008 to 2011. James started their career at CUNY Preparatory High School as the Assistant Director of Administration and Operations from 2004 to 2007. Prior to their work in education, James worked as a Merchandise Manager at Bloomindale's from 2002 to 2004.

James Kusi-Appouh earned their Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from Binghamton University. James studied Psychology and Public Administration from 1992 to 1999.
