Brian Stewart

Brian Stewart currently serves as the Senior Manager of Financial Crime Intelligence at The Star Entertainment Group since September 2023. Previously, Brian held multiple leadership roles at Westpac from December 2017 to September 2023, including Senior Manager for Financial Crime in Consumer & Business Banking and AML/CTF Manager focusing on intelligence. From October 2011 to December 2017, Brian was a Senior Compliance Officer at AUSTRAC, overseeing compliance assessments and relationship management for major financial institutions. Brian also contributed to AUSTRAC's Intelligence division, producing intelligence products and engaging with international stakeholders. Earlier in Brian's career, roles included Manager of Compliance at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Business Unit Manager at the Department of Health and Ageing.
