Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is a seasoned professional in risk and compliance, currently serving as a Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst and Controls Officer at The Star Entertainment Group since March 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew was a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Protiviti from October 2021 to March 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as the Spectator Services Deployment Supervisor at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Corporation from January to April 2018. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business degree in Politics and International Studies, and Management from Griffith University, completed in January 2021, and a Queensland Certificate of Education from Saint Stephen's College, earned in 2016.
