Matthew Williams

Matthew Williams is a skilled financial crime professional currently serving as the Financial Crime Advisory Manager at The Star Entertainment Group since April 2024. Previously, Matthew worked at Deloitte as a Senior Analyst in the Forensic Financial Advisory practice between March 2020 and March 2024. Matthew's earlier roles include Manager at CurrenC, where responsibilities included on-boarding and compliance, and contract positions focused on anti-money laundering and KYC across major banks such as ING, Commonwealth Bank, and Citi. Matthew began a career as a Commercial Analyst at CMB Engineering and has further experience as a Commercial Lending Assistant at Julian Hodge Bank and as a work experience participant at Thomson Reuters. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honours degree in Business Management from Swansea University, obtained in 2014.
