Shane Mahoney

Shane Mahoney is a finance professional with extensive experience in various senior roles within the finance sector. Since March 2013, Shane has been with The Star Entertainment Group, progressing through positions such as Senior Commercial Manager, Group Finance Manager, Financial Accounting Manager, and Senior Financial Accountant. Prior to this, Shane worked as a Fund Controller at Goldman Sachs from May 2011 to January 2013 and held the role of Fund Accountant at QIC from December 2008 to April 2011. Shane began a career in finance as an Accountant at BDO in Australia from July 2007 to December 2008. Educationally, Shane is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, having completed the qualification between 2008 and 2010, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Queensland University of Technology, earned from 2004 to 2007.
