Kyle Empringham

Kyle Empringham is a highly experienced professional in finance, development, and social impact, currently serving as Co-Executive Director of Finance and Development at The Starfish Canada since August 2010. Kyle demonstrates strong leadership by managing a remote team, fostering partnerships with Indigenous communities, and achieving significant revenue growth through innovative funding models. In addition to this role, Kyle is a Sessional Instructor at the University of Victoria and an Entrepreneur in Residence at Purppl. Previous positions include Director of Partnerships and Operations at CanAssist, Director of Policy and Engagement at the Government of British Columbia, and Director of Social Impact & ESG at ThoughtExchange.
