Adam McGowan

Adam McGowan is a seasoned entrepreneur and advisor with extensive experience in leading tech startups. As the Chief Operating Officer at Stackwell since January 2021, Adam also serves as the Founder of The Startup COO, where expertise is shared through writing, speaking, and advising on startup operations. Adam has been a Fractional COO and partner to startup CEOs, focusing on sales optimization and product-market fit. Additionally, Adam’s leadership roles include memberships in The Young Entrepreneur Council and The Startup Coalition, and founding initiatives such as Raising Rhinos and Firefield, all aimed at helping startups scale effectively. Educational background includes a BA in Economics from Harvard University and attendance at Choate Rosemary Hall.
