Aaron Gladd

Aaron Gladd is currently the Chief of Staff of the State University of New York. Prior to that he served as the Chief of Staff at SUNY Empire State College. He also was the New York State Director of the Northeast Charter Schools Network, Deputy Director of Policy in the office of Governor Andrew Cuomo, Legislative Director in the office of the State Senate's Deputy Majority Leader, and a Congressional Assistant for former Congressman Michael McNulty.

Gladd served four years as a Platoon Leader in the U.S. Army, including a combat tour to Eastern Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Law from the University at Albany, a master of Public Administration from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy and studied at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.
