Peter F. Bell

Associate Professor Of Economics Emeritus at The State University of New York

Peter F. Bell is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in economics education. Serving as Associate Professor of Economics Emeritus at the State University of New York since August 1975, Peter has made significant contributions through teaching, research, and administration, while also leading the Westchester Center for Economic Education and receiving the SUNY Chancellors Award for Excellence in Teaching. Consulting for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on economic education workshops and holding a position as Visiting Professor at Thammasat University, Peter has furthered international academic collaboration. As Executive Director of the New York State Council on Economic Education from 1991 to 2002, Peter advocated for the integration of economics into K-12 curricula. Peter holds multiple degrees in Economics and Political Science from esteemed institutions, including Yale University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
