Taras Kufel

Taras Kufel is a seasoned professional in digital engagement and web management, currently serving as the Manager of Digital Engagement at The State University of New York since October 2012. In this role, Taras builds and manages content for suny.edu and the associated blog. Prior experience includes positions as Assistant Director of Digital Engagement and Web Design & Content Manager at SUNY, where Taras oversaw design and content consistency across digital platforms. Additionally, Taras lectured on digital marketing at the University at Albany in 2023 and held the role of Webmaster at Protective Industrial Products, managing web presence and intranet services. Earlier experience also includes a position as Multimedia Designer/Art Director at NTP Media, focusing on graphic design and publishing for B2B magazines. Taras holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Media, Arts, & Communications from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
