Tony DeFranco has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Tony is currently the Director of Operations at The State University of New York (SUNY) OER Services since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Director of User Support Services at SUNY OER Services from October 2018 to May 2021, where they led technology-based project management and marketing initiatives.

Tony DeFranco has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Design and Technology from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Tony also holds an MBA degree in Business Administration from Empire State University, a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Management and Economics from SUNY Empire State College, and an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration from SUNY Canton. In addition to their academic qualifications, Tony has obtained certifications such as SUNY Online Summit and Open SUNY Online Teaching Community Leader from The State University of New York.
