The States Project
Simone Leiro currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Communications and Marketing at The States Project, a position held since April 2020. Prior experience includes roles as Engagement Lead and Director of Programming and Partnerships at All In Together from June 2017 to March 2020, as well as a brief stint in Digital Production at March For Our Lives in March 2018. Simone Leiro also worked as Associate Director of Online Engagement at the Executive Office of the President, The White House, from January 2016 to January 2017, and served as a Field Organizer at Everytown for Gun Safety in 2013. Earlier in the career, Simone Leiro contributed to the organizing efforts for Obama for America in the summer of 2012. Educationally, Simone Leiro obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Politics with a Minor in Public Policy and Management from New York University.
