Karina Avila, MS, LAT, ATC, CES, is an experienced athletic trainer currently serving at The Steadman Clinic since July 2022. Previous roles include a seasonal intern athletic trainer with the New York Jets and an athletic trainer at the University of Nevada, Reno, covering football and cheer. Karina also worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Eastern Illinois University, primarily with football and swimming teams, and completed athletic training internships at San Diego State University and the University of California San Diego, focusing on fall football, women's volleyball, women's soccer, and men's volleyball. Karina Avila holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from San Diego State University.
