Talena Williams DMSc, PA-C, ATC/L has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare industry. Talena began their career in 2001 at Roanoke Orthopedic Center, where they served as a Physician Assistant and Sports Medicine Coordinator until 2010. From 2006 to 2010, Talena also worked as the Chief Operating Officer at ON-SITE SPORTS MEDICINE SERVICES, INC. Following that, they joined Carilion Clinic as a Physician Assistant/Athletic Training Manager from 2010 to 2015. During their time at Carilion Clinic, they also served as a Practice Manager for Dr. Marc Philippon at The Steadman Clinic from 2015 to 2019. From 2019 to 2023, Talena held the position of VP of Clinical Operations at The Steadman Clinic, and they are currently the Chief Operating Officer at the same company. Additionally, they served as the Director of Medical Services for the Premier Lacrosse League from 2021 to 2023 and as a Team USA Medical Provider for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in July and August 2021 as part of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee.

Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Emory & Henry College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant from James Madison University.
