Dave Segal is a seasoned staff writer at The Stranger since 2004, specializing in features, reviews, and previews covering music, film, books, and occasionally food, while also editing the music section and contributing to the blog. Prior to this role, Dave served as the music editor at OC Weekly from March 2007 to August 2008 and worked as an editor at Gale Group/Visible Ink Press from 1986 to 1994. Dave holds a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Wayne State University, completed between 1981 and 1986, and briefly attended Michigan State University in 1980-1981.
