Steven Matejek, CPA

Steven Matejek, CPA has a strong background in finance and accounting with experience in various industries. Steven is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of The STRO Companies, a commercial real estate developer and property manager. In this role, they have redesigned the finance team to add value and enable growth. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Finance for North America and LATAM at Vizrt Inc., a provider of enterprise broadcast software and services, where they provided solutions to the Board of Directors and delivered results in revenue generation and profitability. Steven also served as the Director of Finance at Healthcasts Technology Group LLC, a provider of digital media and data-driven intelligence to the pharmaceutical industry, where they revamped the finance department to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Earlier in their career, Steven was the Head of Finance for North America at SimCorp North America, a global provider of software and services to the financial industry. Steven also worked as a Controller at an international real estate developer and at The Grand Summit, a family office asset portfolio. Additionally, they gained experience as a Financial Auditor at the Arizona Auditor General, where they performed financial and compliance audits.

Steven Matejek, CPA obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University from 1994 to 1996. In addition, they have obtained several certifications including Certified Public Accountant from the New York State Board of Education, the New Jersey State Board of Accountancy, and the Arizona State Board of Accountancy in March 2004. Steven also received a certification in Coaching and Developing Employees from LinkedIn in November 2018.
