Bill Paladino

William (Bill) Paladino is the current Director at The Student Hub Online. Prior to this, they were the CEO of Ecommerce Africa for the Naspers Group from January 2012 to November 2014. In this role, they managed Naspers African ecommerce businesses/investments including Kalahari.com, Korbitec/Property24, Style36, and 5Rooms in South Africa, as well as Konga.com in Nigeria. Bill was also active in most Naspers retail ecommerce investment decisions worldwide.

From September 2009 to February 2012, Bill was the Executive Director of Global Online for Dell, where they led all Dell Consumer ecommerce websites in Asia including China, India, Japan, India, Korea, and ASEAN. In this role, they managed 65 multilanguage/multiculture team members throughout Asia and had direct responsibility for US$450M sales channel based in Singapore.

Before Dell, Bill worked for Amazon from March 2005 to December 2008. Bill started as the Director of Amazon Japan and successfully hired and developed a cross functional, diverse team to launch Health and Beauty Japan that grew into a retail and marketplace business with over 145% YoY revenue growth. Their responsibilities soon grew to include P&L ownership for all Home and Kitchen Japan.
