Leah Matheson

Leah Matheson has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as HR Manager at The Student Room Group since March 2014, where responsibilities include strategic planning, employee engagement, payroll processing, and the implementation of effective HR processes. Under Leah's leadership, the company received notable accolades, including the Brighton & Hove Business award for "Employer of the Year." Prior roles include HR Advisor at Sightsavers and HR Assistant positions at various organizations, contributing to global HR initiatives, recruitment, and employee support. Leah holds a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute, as well as a PG Diploma in Human Resources Management from the University of Brighton, alongside a BA in Management from the University of Leeds.
