Lucretia Williams-Melendez

Special Project Specialist at The Studio Museum in Harlem

Lucretia Williams-Melendez is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in project management and coordination within academic and cultural institutions. Currently serving as a Special Project Specialist and Senior Project Coordinator at The Studio Museum in Harlem since October 2015, Lucretia has successfully managed capital building projects, including procurement guidelines and administrative processes, as well as relocation plans and Office 365 support. Previously, Lucretia held positions at Hunter College where responsibilities included organizing an academic field school and serving as a Teaching Assistant in Anthropology. Additional research roles at institutions such as Columbia University and the American Museum of Natural History demonstrate a strong background in archaeology and anthropology. Lucretia holds an M.A. in Anthropology from Hunter College and a B.A. in Anthropology from the same institution.
