Madison Smith is an accomplished arts professional with extensive experience in community engagement and programming. Currently serving as the Access and Community Programs Coordinator at The Studio Museum in Harlem since May 2021, Madison previously held various roles including Co-Founder of Monarch Art and Wellness, which promotes representation for women and non-binary creatives. Madison's background includes serving as the Coordinator of Public Programs at the Chicago Architecture Center and managing projects for the ECLIPSING Festival, focused on artists and healers from LGBTQIA+ communities. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in Art History, Theory, and Criticism, Madison's early career included positions at the Art Institute and Evanston Art Center, showcasing a consistent dedication to fostering artistic expression and accessibility within diverse communities.
