Sam Walker

Sam Walker is a consumer reporter at The Sun since May 2022, previously serving as (Acting) Digital News Editor and Trainee Reporter at Iliffe Media Group from February 2020 to May 2022, where a variety of stories including court cases and local politics were covered. Sam gained experience during a brief work placement at Daily Mail in February 2020, contributing to daily news podcasts, and completed a trainee program at Press Association Training from August to December 2019. Work experience as a reporter at South London Press involved sourcing content and reporting from live events. Sam also undertook a year of traveling and work from February 2018 to February 2019 and served as a Sales Consultant at Wowcher from February 2016 to February 2018. Educational qualifications include a BA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Nottingham, earned between 2011 and 2015.
