Curtis Smith

Curtis Smith is a seasoned professional in the construction industry, currently serving as the Group Controls Manager at Sundt Construction since August 2015. In this role, Curtis leads regional Project Controls teams within the Building Group, focusing on performance analysis, financial forecasting, compliance auditing, and implementing Lean principles for continuous improvement. Prior experience includes positions as Project Controls Manager, Project Manager, and Senior Estimator, as well as a significant tenure with the Arizona Army National Guard, where Curtis achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class and participated in overseas deployments for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University.
