Kalohe Danbara

Kalohe Danbara is an editorial intern at The Surfer's Journal, responsible for writing and digitizing content while ensuring high-quality presentation and social media engagement. Danbara also plays a key role in programming and guest services for the San Diego Asian Film Festival, where film submissions are reviewed, and social events are organized. As president of the UCSD Surf Team, Kalohe manages team logistics and collaborative events with sponsors. Previous experience includes editing for Their Campus Media and writing for The UCSD Guardian, with a focus on news and storytelling. Danbara is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Writing and Communications at the University of California, San Diego, supplemented by studies at Université Bordeaux Montaigne.
