Matt Archer has a diverse work experience that includes roles in academia, healthcare, and digital health. Matt started their career as a Medical Doctor at the NHS in 2017, where they worked until 2018. Matt then rejoined the NHS in 2020 as a Doctor and continues in that role. In 2021, they served as a Digital Fellow at Code Med and as a member of the Editorial Board and Peer Reviewer at the International Journal of Digital Health. In 2022, they worked as a Clinical Director at Neucruit and as a Volunteer at Personalize My Medicine. Matt also served as an Academic Volunteer at VRiMS and joined the Editorial Board at Future Medicine AI. Additionally, they had a role at GlobMed from 2021 to 2022. In 2022, they became the Director of Operations at The Surgical Consortium and later took on the role of Academic Clinical AI at The Alan Turing Institute, starting in 2023.

Matt Archer's education history begins with their attendance at the Reading Blue Coat School from 2005 to 2012. Matt then pursued a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the University of Leicester from 2012 to 2017. Following this, Matt obtained an MRCS degree from the Royal College Surgeons England, completing their studies in 2021. In 2022 and 2023, they furthered their education by pursuing an MBA at both Valar Institute and Quantic School of Business and Technology, respectively.
