Javier López Gómez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate sustainability and energy efficiency. Currently a Founding Member at The Sustainability Circle and Global Head of Corporate Sustainability at SGS since July 2010, Javier leads ESG strategy and oversight for Sustainability Ambitions 2030. Previous roles at SGS include Global Sustainability and Energy Efficiency Manager, where Javier designed carbon neutrality strategies and implemented decarbonization programs, and earlier positions focusing on energy audits and sustainable building certifications. Javier's background also includes project management in energy services at Endesa and renewable energy projects at Milano Energia srl. Javier holds a Master's degree in Project Management and Energy Installations from the Instituto Tecnológico de Energía and degrees in Building Engineering and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and Universitat Politècnica de València, respectively.
