Aketzalli Valdivia is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and compliance within international trade and logistics. As Chief Operating Officer at The Sustainable Agave Company since June 2020, Aketzalli oversees logistics and operations. Prior to this role, Aketzalli served at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Compliance Assurance Lead, leading optimization projects and coordinating global assessments, and as an Import Specialist addressing trade compliance issues in the US and Brazil. Additionally, Aketzalli taught International Trade Agreements at Universidad del Valle de México and worked as a Senior Consultant at KPMG en México, providing expertise in customs compliance across various industries. Aketzalli holds a degree in International Business from Tecnológico de Monterrey and a diploma in Tax Law from Universidad de Guadalajara.

To combat the issue, the Sustainable Agave Company upcycles the waste to make practical and sustainable biodegradable products. As an environmental leader, we are constantly searching for new and innovative plant-based processes to create our products. It is our goal to upcycle more than 5,000,000lbs of agave waste into exciting and practical biodegradable products.
