Thomas Boor

Thomas Boor is an experienced procurement manager currently at The SYGMA Network since February 2006, where responsibilities include managing growth and sourcing for Dairy and Non-Foods categories while developing relationships with key suppliers. Previously, Thomas served as Senior Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager, overseeing inventory procurement across multiple distribution centers and managing a team of 13 direct reports. Before joining The SYGMA Network, Thomas worked at Sysco / Abbott Foods from June 1992 to February 2006 as a merchandiser, handling the replenishment of temperature-controlled food products and ensuring stock availability. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management and an Associate of Science in Culinary Arts, both from Johnson & Wales University.
