Bill Rollo is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and governance within military and charitable organizations. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Trustees at The Tank Museum since August 2023, Bill previously held the role of Vice Chairman at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission until June 2023. Earlier positions include Director at The Military Mutual and Member of the Board of Trustees at King Edward VII's Hospital. Bill's military career includes significant roles such as Deputy Chief of Defence Staff (Personnel & Training) at the UK Ministry of Defence, Commander of Force Development & Training in the British Army, and Deputy Commander of the Multinational Force in Iraq. Bill Rollo holds a Master of Arts degree in History and Law from Trinity College Cambridge and has completed advanced military studies at the School of Advanced Military Studies in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

The Tank Museum, Bovington, UK, holds the finest and most historically significant collection of fighting armour in the world. Unrivalled in scope and depth, the Museum cares for 300 vehicles from 26 nations. These range from `Little Willie`, the world’s first tank, through to the British Army’s current Main Battle Tank, Challenger 2. The Tank Museum holds it annual TANKFEST event, on the last weekend in June. This incredible spectacular is the world’s best display of moving armour.
