Oscar Williams-Grut

Oscar Williams-Grut is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in business reporting. Currently serving as the Assistant Business Editor at The Telegraph since June 2022, Oscar previously held the position of City Editor at the Evening Standard from September 2021 to June 2022. Prior roles include Acting co-head of UK at Yahoo Finance, where responsibilities included managing the London desk, and Senior City Correspondent at Business Insider, focusing on FinTech and finance. Oscar began a career in journalism as a Market Reporter for the Evening Standard and has also contributed to the publication as an Online Business Journalist. An alumnus of the University of Cambridge, Oscar earned a BA in History from 2009 to 2012.
