Bridget Hoke

Bridget Hoke is an experienced professional with a background in education, program coordination, and community engagement. Currently serving as Publications Manager at The Telling Room since November 2022, Bridget previously coordinated the Make It Happen site at Portland Public Schools, focusing on college readiness for multilingual students. Additional experience includes roles as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Casco Bay High School and various positions at Bowdoin College, including Teaching Intern and Peer Writing Assistant. Bridget's early career involved leading volunteer efforts as the Lead Campus Organizer for Bernie Sanders For President. Educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Africana Studies from Bowdoin College and ongoing pursuit of a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Southern Maine, alongside a study at the School for International Training.
