Eddie Gaspar is an experienced photo editor and photographer with a substantial background in various media organizations. Currently serving as a Photo Editor/Photographer at Texas Tribune since August 2019, Eddie previously held the title of Chief Photographer and Photo Editor at The Daily Texan, managing a team of 30 and overseeing photo coverage communication. Experience also includes roles as a Senior Photographer, Staff Photographer, and Freelance Photographer at various institutions, focusing on rapid media delivery and collaboration with reporters and event organizers. Eddie holds a Bachelor's degree in History from The University of Texas at Austin, supplemented by internships and freelance assignments that demonstrate a commitment to high-quality visual storytelling.
