Felix Heins has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Felix started as a Program/Field Officer at ERCI - Emergency Response Centre International in 2016 and later worked as an Education Coordinator and Program Officer and Rescuer. In 2018, they joined ARSIS - Association for the Social Support of Youth as a Field Coordinator and UAM Shelter Coordinator. In 2019, they became a Project Manager at Xeelas, where they worked until 2021. In December 2020, Felix joined The Things Industries as a Project & Business Development Manager. In January 2021, they also became a Co-Founder of HERO IoT.
Felix Heins completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Mechatronics from Technische Universität Braunschweig from 2013 to 2017. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from VILNIUS TECH - Vilnius Gediminas Technical University from 2015 to 2016. Felix has also acquired several additional certifications, including Project Management for Development from the Inter-American Development Bank in November 2018, Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster from Harvard University in February 2018, Advanced First Aid Training from Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. in July 2015, and Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy in December 2019.
