Gabriel Rivera

Gabriel Rivera's work experience includes serving as a Copy Chief at The Ticker since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Activity Specialist at Manhattan Youth starting in September 2019. Gabriel also gained experience through internships at The Bond Buyer in 2022 and Dow Jones News Fund in 2022. Gabriel has also held positions as a Student Intern at The RICC - The City College of New York (CUNY) from June 2021 to June 2022 and as a Summer Ambassador at DoSomething.org in 2020. Additionally, they volunteered as a T4 Volunteer at Brooklyn Public Library from August 2019 to August 2020 and worked as an Assistant Tournament Director & Camp Counselor at Chess in the Schools from November 2016 to May 2019. Gabriel also worked as a Human Resources Associate at Your Name Here, Inc. - Virtual Enterprise International, Inc from September 2018 to April 2019 and was a student at All Star Code in July and August 2018.

Gabriel Rivera completed their high school education from Fort Hamilton High School between 2015 and 2019. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Journalism & Creative Writing and Political Science at Baruch College. Their studies at Baruch College began in 2019 and are expected to be completed in 2023.
