John Watkins

John Watkins is a seasoned photo and video journalist currently serving as a Staff Photo/Video Journalist at The Times of Northwest Indiana since April 2022. Prior to this role, John operated as a Freelance Photojournalist from January 2020 to April 2022, also contributing to The Times of Northwest Indiana as a Multi-media journalist for 35 years from January 1985 to January 2020. John's career began as a Stock Clerk at Burger's Supermarket between September 1972 and January 1985. Educationally, John attended Purdue University Northwest from 1974 to 1978, following earlier schooling at Hammond High School, Bailly Jr. High School, Kuny Elementary School, and Ivanhoe Elementary School.
