Cole Murtiff

Cole Murtiff is an accomplished Application Engineer at The Timken Company, currently serving as Application Engineer II in the Aerospace division since February 2020. Murtiff specializes in reviewing Space and Defense application requirements, analyzing bearing solutions for various applications, and proposing alternatives based on empirical data. Prior roles at The Timken Company include Application Engineer I in Mobile On Highway, where Murtiff supported customer accounts and enhanced electrification architecture. Initial experience as a co-op established a foundation in application engineering and process development, complemented by roles in engineering and inventory control across various industries. Murtiff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Mathematics Minor from Ohio University.
