Michael Juul Rugaard

Michael Juul Rugaard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the fields of advisory and communications. Michael is the Founding Partner of Norfico, a Nordic advisory and communications agency specializing in fintech, since its establishment in 2015. Additionally, Rugaard is a Founding Partner & CEO of The Tokenizer A/S since 2019 and a Founding Member of Global Fintech PR Network since 2016. Michael has also served as a Board Member at NPinvestor.com from 2020 to 2021. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Rugaard worked as a Press Manager at Teller from 2013 to 2015 and as a Communications Consultant at Nets Denmark A/S from 2010 to 2013, handling critical issues and projects. Michael has also held positions such as Account Director at Text100 from 2003 to 2010, where they specialized in public relations for technology companies, and as a PR Consultant at Grandjean Kommunikation from 1998 to 2000. Rugaard began their career as a Language Teacher at VIA/IDA Language Centre in 1997. Overall, they have extensive experience in fintech, communications, PR, and management roles throughout their career.

Michael Juul Rugaard attended the University of Copenhagen from 1990 to 1995, where they earned a Master's degree in Communications, Linguistics, and Literature.
