The Torchlight Collective
Katherine (Kat) Watson is a founding member of The Torchlight Collective, actively working to dismantle global systems of oppression since September 2015. In parallel, Katherine serves as Research Lead at UNESCO, overseeing a mixed methods study on sexuality education outcomes, and has held multiple consultancy roles with the World Health Organization focusing on gender-based violence and adolescent health programming. Katherine's expertise extends to evaluating human rights policies and conducting assessments for various international organizations, including Women's Fund Asia and Girls Not Brides. With a solid educational background, including a forthcoming PhD in International Children's Rights Law from Leiden University, Katherine has contributed to numerous publications and research initiatives aimed at advancing women's rights and health on a global scale.
