Donato Monaco

Donato Monaco is an accomplished insurance executive currently serving as President of Northland Insurance since January 2022, a company known for insuring trucking firms for over 70 years. In addition to this role, Donato is also an Insurance Executive at Travelers and has been a Board Member at Covenant Preparatory School since its inception in 2008, focusing on supporting underserved families in the Greater Hartford area. Previously, Donato held several executive positions at The Hartford from April 2002 to January 2022, including Vice President roles in Business Development, Small Business Group Benefits, and Group Reinsurance. Donato's early community involvement includes serving as a Board Member for the Greater Hartford Literacy Council from 2002 to 2005. Academically, Donato holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Business Administration from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
