Michael Kunkel

Michael Kunkel has extensive experience in artificial intelligence and data science, holding positions such as Director of Technologies at Emerging Technologies with Travelers from June 2019 to November 2021, and AI Architect with Insight Data Science in early 2019. A background in research includes roles as Lead AI Scientist, Lead Data Scientist, and Research Scientist at Forschungszentrum Jülich from January 2015 to December 2018, and Data Scientist and Data Engineer in Physics at Old Dominion University from August 2007 to December 2014. Michael Kunkel served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps from June 1998 to August 2003.
