Joseph Browne is a qualified solicitor with a diverse professional background, currently seeking new opportunities since January 2020. With extensive experience spanning various roles, Browne has served as Chair of Trustees and a founding member at The Traveller Movement since September 1999, and as Treasurer on the Board of Directors and a founding member at icap Immigrant Counselling and Psychotherapy since 1995. Previous positions include solicitor at Howe & Co Solicitors from October 2010 to January 2020, Director of National Services at Chaplaincy to Travellers from July 1999 to October 2010, and Senior Project Manager at the Irish Chaplaincy from September 1995 to October 2010. Browne's educational background includes a Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, a BSc in Political Science & Law from London Metropolitan University, and a BA in Theology/Theological Studies from Tipperary Institute of Technology St Patrick's College Thurles.

We have developed an expertise in tackling local issues whilst shaping national policies. It has become a recognised bridge between the GRT sector, service providers and policy makers, stimulating debate and promoting forward-looking strategies to advance equality, civic engagement, inclusion and community cohesion. We deliver work in a number of different areas: Research –mapping and collating an evidence base for change. Policy and lobbying –on a wide range issues to ensure inclusion. Campaign- for human rights, equality and justice. Access to Justice –casework, advocacy and support, development of multimedia educational resources on a wide range of issues Community Development –harnessing community skills to strengthen community voice, participation and self-advocacy.
