Advocacy and Government Relations

The Advocacy and Government Relations team at The Trevor Project focuses on shaping policies and legislation that protect and empower LGBTQ youth. They engage with lawmakers, build strategic coalitions, and lead campaigns to raise awareness about the challenges faced by this community, all while advocating for systemic changes that promote equality and mental health support. Through their efforts, they ensure that the voices of LGBTQ young people are heard at the local, state, and national levels.
