Ruth Koch

Ruth Koch is an experienced leader in the charitable sector, currently serving as Network Lead and Area Manager at The Trussell Trust since August 2020. Prior to this, Ruth held several roles at Tearfund from November 2010 to August 2020, including Northern Ireland Director, where responsibilities encompassed strategic leadership, budget management, and building key external relationships. Additional roles at Tearfund included Senior Associate for UK Campaigns, Head of UK Volunteering, and Specialist Volunteer Manager, focusing on advocacy, volunteer management, and community fundraising. Earlier experience includes working as a Regional Co-ordinator for Christian Aid and as a Support Worker at Nacro. Ruth holds a BA (Hons) in Media, Culture and Society from the University of Birmingham.
