Anne Read

Anne Read is currently serving as the Maine Land Protection Project Manager at the Trust for Public Land since November 2023, overseeing all phases of land protection projects, including community outreach, project development, and landowner negotiations. Previously, Anne worked as a Land Protection Specialist at Midcoast Conservancy, where responsibilities included developing conservation easements and implementing landscape-scale conservation initiatives. Experience also includes a role as Watershed Resources Coordinator with RiverLink, focusing on water quality improvement and volunteer coordination, along with prior positions as a Graduate Research Assistant and Intern in organizations like Clark University and Greater Worcester Land Trust. Anne holds a Master’s of Arts in Community Development and Planning and a Bachelor’s of Arts in International Development and Social Change from Clark University.
