The Trust for Public Land
Jennifer Jones works at The Rockefeller University (a biomedical research institute in New York City) as Director of Creative Content and Grants Management in the Development Office. This unwieldy and wholly accurate professional title means that she spearheads the creation of original content that helps to tell research stories to an external audience. She also helps manage grants to the university’s scientists. Jennifer works in a multitude of forms and on a variety of platforms, including print, film, and web.
Jennifer has been at Rockefeller since 1991, first acting as the administrative manager for a neuroscience lab, before moving to the foundation relations team in the university’s development office in 2016.
Jennifer has a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Yale and a master’s degree in Journalism from Columbia. Though not a native Brooklynite, she has resided in New York’s most populous borough for 25 years.
