Kate Gannon is currently the Associate Director of Training and Capacity Building at Trust for Public Land, responsible for designing and implementing technical assistance programs and resources for park practitioners. Previously, Gannon served as Program Manager at the Chicago Jobs Council, where responsibilities included convening learning cohorts and overseeing customized trainings for workforce and youth development professionals. Gannon's extensive experience at the Chicago Botanic Garden includes roles as Senior Manager of Workforce Development and Youth Farm Manager, focusing on transitional jobs programs and curriculum development. Gannon holds a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Sociology, all from Loyola University Chicago.
