Ian Mcateer

Ian McAteer has extensive experience in leadership and management within the advertising industry, currently serving as Chairman and Managing Director of The Union since March 1996, a role that follows founding the company. Prior to this position, Ian held the title of Client Services Director at Faulds Advertising from September 1992 to February 1996 and was a Group Account Director at Saatchi & Saatchi from September 1984 to September 1992. Ian's educational background includes degrees in Law, with a Barrister at Law obtained from the Council of Legal Education (1980-1981) and an LLB Hons from the University of Leeds (1977-1980), along with early education at Dollar Academy and St Andrews School in Kenya.
