Melissa Phelps Ma, Lpc, Licdc

Melissa Phelps, MA, LPC, LICDC, currently serves as a Community Resource Navigation Specialist at United Way of Greater Cleveland, a position held since August 2021. Prior to this role, Melissa provided technical support as a Technical Support Specialist at Level2 from April to July 2021. Melissa's extensive experience in the mental health field includes tenures at FrontLine Service as a Crisis Intervention Specialist, Case Manager, Administrative Assistant, and Program Coordinator from June 2011 to June 2020. Additional roles include Treatment Specialist at Applewood Centers Inc from June 2010 to April 2018, Administrative Secretary at St. Johns Hospital Foundation from February 2007 to July 2008, and various positions in customer service and administration from 2002 to 2007. Melissa holds a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Kent State University.
