Carolina Robinson

Carolina Robinson, PhD has extensive work experience in various educational institutions. Carolina began their career at Montgomery County Public Schools as a Technology Teacher, where they taught MS Office Suite, Web Design, and Database Programming. Carolina also fundraised for the school's technology academy and coached students for certification exams. Carolina then moved on to Clemson University as a Study Abroad Coordinator, where they directed study abroad activities, managed marketing, and monitored student exchange programs. Carolina also served as the TutorTrac Administrator at Clemson University's Vickery Hall Athletic Enrichment Programs, where they administered a student-athlete program database, developed training materials, and tracked progress. At MoWerks Learning, they worked as an Instructional Design Consultant, reviewing syllabi and designing course material for online courses. At the University of Georgia, they held multiple roles including Associate Director of Student Engagement and CAES Study Abroad Coordinator, where they marketed study abroad opportunities and coordinated programs. Currently, they work at The University of Alabama as the Director of Education Abroad, assisting faculty with program development, implementing marketing strategies, and providing faculty training sessions on various topics.

Carolina Robinson, PhD, obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Clemson University in 2002. Carolina then pursued a Master of Education degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from The University of Georgia from 2008 to 2010. Finally, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Instructional Leadership, specializing in Instructional Technology, from The University of Alabama between 2016 and 2021.
